Father Time

Time is a period necessary, available, or allotted when something specific is accomplished. There is a time to work and a time to play, a time to spare and a time to give.

Father’s Day brings to mind many thoughts and hopefully they are pleasant and heart-warming times, and understanding and loving times.

When we think of our Heavenly Father, many thoughts of Him will flow through our mind, as Believers in Jesus Christ. We think of His mighty love, His everlasting mercy, His enduring faithfulness, and His desire to fellowship with us.

The best thing a father can spend on his children is time. There are many demands on his time and sparing some for family can be a hard thing to do, but no one said that this would be easy. Just be careful in your choosing as to how you use it.

Spending time on your children will give many opportunities that are needed in rearing them. When time is gone, it is gone and it can never be put back and used again.

A Christian father is a servant of God and the spiritual head of his home. There must be time for teaching, guiding, and developing the children. It can’t be done by osmosis.

All this is done with a loving wife and mother by the father’s side, helping to carry the load. It takes a lot of cooperation to keep the home moving forward. God’s rule book is the glue that will hold the family together until time is right for the children to leave the nest.

May God Bless your Family and the time you gave to your children, and it will pay off big time, and they will never forget to honor Dad, Mom, and most of all, God.

“Hear, YE children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding” (Proverbs 4:1 KJV).
