Just As

Jesus came and taught many godly principles and today we have these recorded in the Bible. They are for us to know and obey as Believers, because we love Him, 1 John 4:19 KJV. He gave us life more abundant for now and forever.

Jesus is our example and our desire is to be like Him in our words and in our actions.

We are to love others in truth and deeds Just As He did, 1 John 3:18

KJV. This is how we can show the world that we love God, because God is love, 1 John 4:7-8 KJV.

We are to walk Just As Jesus walked. Our talk talks and is good, but our talk doesn’t talk like our walk walks, Colossians 2:6 KJV.

Believers have the fullness of God’s love in us Just As Jesus over-cometh the world, we also have the power to overcome the world, 1 John 5:5 KJV.

Jesus spent many hours in prayer for His disciples and others. He also prayed for us and Just As He prayed, we must spend time in prayer for our family, our friends, our church family, our government, and for sure don’t forget to pray for our military men and women, John 17:20 KJV.

Believers are to present themselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God Just As Jesus presented Himself to God as a living sacrifice, just for us, Romans 12: 1 KJV.

We are to be concerned about how we live each day Just As Jesus was concerned and lived by godly virtues. Show the world, faith, truth, love, kindness, helpfulness and humility, Philippians 2:5 KJV.

Peace with God or Peace of God

What is the difference between the Peace with God and the Peace of God that we can have?

We can have Peace with God when we accept His Son, Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Savior. We can then have the Peace of God and it surpasses all understanding, Phil. 4:7.

When we accept Jesus, we have put our trust in Him and want to be obedient to His commands and this brings the Peace of God to us.

With our eyes focused on Him, we have the Peace of God, in all things, at all times, and in all places, in our daily walk of life with Him.

God’s peace is perfect Peace and we could never expect it to be any less than perfect Peace because He is perfect.

Jesus taught His disciples that after He returned to heaven that He would leave His Peace with them and it would not be the kind of Peace that the world has to offer us, John 14:27.

His Peace gives us quietness in our mind and in our soul and that gives us a steady Peace with hope without fear.

He also taught that we would have the Holy Spirit to come and be our Comforter and be our Teacher to help us understand the Scriptures. And Jesus is our advocate with God as He sits at His right side and ever lives to intercede for us when we pray.

Having the Peace with God and the Peace of God, should give us a stronger desire to be Peacemakers. Jesus said in His Sermon on the Mount that the Peacemakers are blessed and it shows that we are the children of God.
Godly Peacemakers are Peaceable and enjoy being at Peace with others by speaking Peaceably to them. If we respect the feelings of others, we will be Peacemakers.

“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” (Romans 12:18 NIV).
